THE PROBLEM
A computer lab funded by donation, with twelve desktops and no reliable way to power them. Lessons were rationed to the first hour of the day when grid supply was most likely.
WHAT WE BUILT
8 kWp with storage sized around the lab and the staff room, plus a 16-channel system covering the lab, the store and the two gates — the equipment was as much at risk as it was unpowered.
THE RESULT
The lab ran a full school day for the first time since it was built. Attendance in the computer periods is now the highest in the timetable.
